You’re not going to get very far using cardiovascular routines to try to lose fat in the important places. You’ve probably heard people say to crunch for better abs and get on the machines for your flabby thighs. Cardio will make it hard to lose 20 pounds.
What you really need to do is intervals on a regular basis to get that flab burned off and to get your muscles toned. I’ve been getting my clients on interval plans for more than ten years, way before this style of training became popular.
Back then it was worse than it is today: people thought I was nuts for getting people off cardio and onto intervals. There is still reluctance to do intervals rather than cardio, but those who do are the ones losing fat.
I have a study from Australia where 3 sections of females were guided through a four month prgram for losing fat.
There was one group used for reference. Another one performed interval training 3 days out of seven for 20 minutes. The third grouping did slow cardio for 40 minutes three times every week. You can share your thoughts in the weight loss forum.
This study involved 45 females with weight conditions that averaged a BMI of 23.22.Of course, by the end of the study the ladies on the interval regimen showed a lot of progress in the fight with flab. This was valid for all of them, although the heavier participants got the best results.
Without surprise the ladies who did the cardiovascular routines failed to make any headway against fat.An interval session can be done using a variety of equipment or just your body: indoors or outdoors. What you do is alternate periods of high intensity with periods of low intensity, repeated for six cycles. Intervals will help you experience rapid weight loss.

It’s unfortunate that most people think that exercising and getting fit means going down to the local gym. Although you can do that and it’s just fine, you should look at other ways that have more fun to offer. And, every season, it can be a different experience.
Weight is an issue in almost every person. Whether people are watching what they eat, so they don’t put on weight or whether they are trying to lose weight fast with dieting, it’s always on everyone’s mind. Learning how to lose fat without suffering is probably the best thing that you can do for yourself.
Beginning with your diet, you can just tweak it slightly, and you’ll see a huge difference. Instead of eating three large meals each day, eat the same amount of food but just divide the portions throughout the day.
This will help your body to digest more quickly and handle the calories that you have consumed. Making wise decisions regarding your diet will also help you. Instead of eating fried foods, try boiled or broiled foods instead. This will actually reduce the amount of calories and yet you’re still eating the same food that you always love.
In other words, being creative in the kitchen will help you go a long way. Instead of drinking juice, get your vitamins and your fiber by eating fruit. Fruit is also a sensible snack that has much less calories than any fruit juice or other type of snack.
Although many of us enjoy outdoor exercises during other seasons, winter can kind of get in the way. But, if you like walking or jogging, a treadmill can remedy that situation. If you save your membership fees and apply it to a treadmill, it is an excellent investment that will pay itself off shortly.
Some winter exercises that are great ways of getting fit our skating and skiing. They are fun, and really give your lower body a good workout. As for skating, the equipment is affordable. On the other hand, Alpine skiing equipment can be more costly, but you can find deals. Just about anywhere.
When it comes to skiing, your lower body gets an excellent workout which helps to tone your buttocks, legs, and abdomen. You’ll also get a good dose of vitamin C by getting out on the hills. In addition to that, you also have some fun doing a little apres-ski with some friends.

I’m often asked what to do for exercises if a person gets trapped away from civilized life.Without electricity, machines, and television sets, a lot of people just don’t know what to do. You can lose 20 pounds without anything but you and your weight.
This sounds like it’s somewhere in the jungle, but it can also be similar to the conditions at a hotel or at home. The good news is that you can build muscle and improve your body composition without any equipment.
All you need to do is put together a series of exercises that use your body’s weight. To illustrate an effective method to train, I’m giving you one of my routines here.
#1 – A rapid motion drill such as the jump-jack or the stationary run.
#2 – Squats with each hand in back of the neck to help your back’s higher section.
Three: Push up variations that are easy to do. Get some more suggestions from a weight loss forum.
#4 One Legged exercises like lunges.
Five: Top back exercises from pull-ups, chin-ups, inverse-rows, or dumbbell row.
#6 – A different 1-leg routine like a splitting squat.
Seven: Abs movements that involve the entire body. Climbers are a possible choice.
Eight: Choose a quick moving drill like burpees, jumpropes, or sprints to wrap up. Go through all 8 moves with a number of repetitions without resting as if it were one long sequence.
Then go through the whole circuit again two or three more times. You’ll need to get some exertion on yourself, while being careful not to push too hard.
A novice should only attempt the series one time until your body gets used to the movement.
Take the opportunity now to bid farewell to those boring, useless cardio routines you used to do. You’ll also enjoy experiencing rapid weight loss.

I’m going to reveal some things about cardiovascular training that may change the way you think about it. Below are some workout plans that will help you shed abdominal flab and those extra pounds. It is possible for you to enjoy rapid weight loss.
These are fast ways that will help you reach your fitness goals.
Cardio sequence 1 – Slow.
You’ll find this one is based on the way people used to view aerobic exercises. This is the traditional way people approach cardio using long, slow sessions that are short on results.
The truth is that there aren’t any results to make any claim that this kind of exercise works.
There’s still another study that shows that females exercising for an hour of this kind of reduced intensity effort has no effect on belly fat, even after months of persistence.
Cardio sequence 2 – Fast. Do this if you want to lose 20 pounds.
You’ve got to move fast and hard until you get at least a four hundred calorie burn done. This should take about a forty minute period. This is good, but it’s still not the best way to lose fat.
Cardiovascular routine number three: training with intervals. There was a study done in Australia proving that interval training burned fat while less intense and drawn out cardio did not. Intervals are a preferred choice when trying to lose fat.. The way you do this is by alternating hard, intense work with easy recovery work.
Let me give you an example of what an aerobic-intervals period will look like. After getting warmed up, start exercising at a high intensity pace that’s about 20% harder than what you usually do. This should last about 60 seconds.Follow up with a sixty second cool-down recovery period and then go back to being more intense. This should be done for at least five cylces followed by a five minute cool down to close. You can share your success on the weight loss forum.
