20 Fun Facts About Festive Calories and How To Burn Them Off

by Editor on December 17, 2009

This is a great article I came across – it’s from a few days ago – out of the Sun (a newspaper in the UK). The holiday and festive seasons are always a time when we tend to over-indulge in just about everything, mostly because we can! The best of the best is available to us whether in the form of food or drink. We’ve had a busy and stressful year so we deserve it and chances are, as an added bonus, we won’t have to do the dishes either – so we can eat and drink as much as we like and then just lie around until a nap overcomes our will power.

But there are consequences of course to all this, besides the stomach aches and bloated bellies; we’ll have to try get rid of all the calories at some point right?

So the Sun gives us some tips on what calories we may be consuming over the festive season and how to go about burning them off with quick and easy activities. It’s going to be up to you however to make sure you don’t binge because regardless of the huge amount of calories you will consume in one sitting, it’s going to be literally impossible to get yourself off the couch later on to do any of the activities suggested in the article. The link is below and a couple of my favorites (in case you don’t have time to read the whole thing)
